Atlanta Cafes: Momonoki and Momo Cafe
I’m back again with another spot to add to your list of Atlanta cafes to visit! This time I’m giving you two in one because this place doubles as a restaurant and a cafe. Quite perfect if you are coming to get work done and then need to take a lunch break.
Location
Momonoki / Momo Cafe is located 95 8th St. NW Suite 100 Atlanta, GA 30309 in Midtown.
Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte with Oat Milk
Atlanta Cafes: Momo Cafe
I visited Momonoki twice and both times I had I good experience. What I like about this place is they have options. Do you want food-food? Just a little snack? Some coffee or tea to get you going? Ice cream?! There’s bound to be something on the menu that will catch your eye. For me, both times it was the colorful Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte. It’s so tasty too! I’m pretty weary of strawberry syrups because they usually have such an artificial taste to it that I don’t like. However, they didn’t let me down. The smooth, lightly bitter, and nutty tones of the matcha pairs really well with the strawberry syrup. I am a fan. Next, I tried a matcha mochi doughnut. The Atlanta heat wasn’t kind to it, and the matcha coating started to melt off, but I still thought It was good.

Now for lunch I ordered the Salmon Chazku Bowl, which comes with pan seared salmon, poached egg, white rice, scallions, seaweed, and other seasonings. Honestly speaking, I wouldn’t re-order this again. They topped the rice with some ramen broth and which turned it into a “soupy rice.” The plus side is that they cooked the salmon well and all of the flavors were right. My friends had Momonoki Tonkotsu, a ramen, and the Fried Chicken Sando. Everyone seemed satisfied with their meals. Our waiter was kind and friendly to us. I give him extra bonus point for participating in my video recordings of the food.

A lot of the Atlanta cafes I visited tend to be super crowded and noisy and I liked that this one was not. They have outdoor patio seating and some on the second level with outlets to get some work done.
Overall, I can’t get over how aesthetically pleasing Momonoki / Momo Cafe is. Like I said before, I appreciate that they provide options, whether that is a fast-casual walk up and go situation, a sit down for food vibe, or a come and get work done setting. Next time you are looking for some Atlanta cafes to check out, keep Momo Cafe on your radar.
